What's Your Face (the App) uses a browser cookie called "whatsyourface.culture" to remember your language preference (see there on the top right of this page?).
Neither the App nor the face recognition technology which it uses (Azure Cognitive Services) store any of the photos you upload. Cognitive Services extracts the "features" of your face (that's fancy talk for numbers) and stores them for 24 hours after which they are discarded. The App uses the "features" to calculate the names that most match our face, after which it does not use them again until they are discarded from Cognitive Services 24 hours later.
What's Your Face does not store or retrieve any personal data about you.
